PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS DIVISION
.The Los Santos Fire Department commits to the efficient daily operation of the Department, and maintains an active presence within the Professional Standards Division to hold Firefighters and other employees accountable. As part of this ideology, the Department takes a proactive stance to ensure a fair, competitive workplace where employees are awarded for their own contributions.
The Department requires all employees in an active relationship with another employee of this Department to present according notification to the Professional Standards Division. The Department also mandates the same procedure for employees with proper belief that a bias may exist between them and another employee of this Department for other reasons.
Employees are required to provide notice within five (5) days of the declaration of such a relationship and are encouraged to notify the Professional Standards Division upon the termination of such relationship. Additional information for employees is located in the Manual of Operations.
Civilians or other employees with knowledge of a potential issue relating to the bias of multiple parties are encouraged to submit a formal report through the Employee Complaint system.
